In a blur…

Yesterday, I’ve experienced one of the best train trips I’ve ever been into. Once again I went to the Highlands for the weekend, and returned yesterday by nightfall. The train was 22 minutes late when it arrived in the old station, where they don’t have screens with updated info like the ones we have around here. All the passengers had to rely on the sparse info that came through the speakers, but it wasn’t a problem. It was pitch black for most of the three hour trip, but I didn’t mind at all. I seized the lack of exterior light to focus on the jazz music that I was listening to. It was so soothing and relaxing… It felt really good. I even forgot that the next day was Monday (if only for a couple of hours…).

I’ve also gained some courage and I’m finally reading Diana Gabaldon’s “Fiery Cross”. I wonder if this is it… I really want to read it, but sometimes I lack the courage to take it to the end. Geezz… it’s over 1400 pages… As for Neil Gaiman’s “American Gods” will be read at the same time. Confused? Don’t worry, so am I.

Lately, I don’t have much time to spend on the tasks I love the most but last week I managed to paint a canvas in acrylic paint. Here’s the master piece (cof cof).

This is only to say that I’m not a great artist but I enjoy doing it. It is now in the Highlands, waiting for Argus to decide where it is gonna be hanged: in the toilet or in corridor… I wonder if he wants another one, in different colours? Hum.. I ought to ask him ;) .

Well, it’s getting late for today. I hope to come back this week.

Enjoy the mist.
