BellyDance mood

Today I had an extended lesson. One hour and a half shaking the medals ;) pretty cool. I recommed it to all women who wants to feel like a real woman, sure of themselves and who are confortable about their womanhood. Bellydance is a cry for independence, sensuality and spoken movement.

Give it a try. Google it ;)

Long time no see :)

This little fairy has been really far away from this keybord. My life is so turned upside down lately, that all my will to share thoughts with you went away. A lot has changed. What I thought would never happen, actually did, and so on.

Lately, i’m always busy. Not only I work in a company, but I’m also tutoring some kids. Had it not been enough, this little fairy also decided to take up on bellydancing lessons. It’s so cool, but so dificult.

Oh, and I reconnected with some old friends. it’s been a lot. My head was almost exploding, so I decided to take a week off. minor problem… it’s in the end. Anyway I rested a little bit, but most important I was away from work.

I’m just disapointed, because I have so many books started and I was really keen on finishing them this week. I haven’t pick them up. So, I’m completely ashamed.

Later today I’m going to a concert. Hope it doesnt’ rain. I hate when it rains and I have to drive back home.

Well, I just meant to say hi. So… Hi there :)

Kisses, Lazy Sunday

PS: Have you noticed it’s almost Christmas… again?

The book fair

Yesterday I went to the Book fair that takes place in Lisbon every year. And as such I couldn’t miss it. I only bought a book, because there’s no way I was gonna step into THE book fair just to look around, despite the shameful tbr pile that keeps stacking… due to a cronic lack of time. Anyway, I bought a book by a portuguese author, Miguel Esteves Cardoso, with a very sugestive title: O Amor é Fodido… I would translate it as: Love is a fucked up thing.  This book has been tempting  me for years, mostly due to its provocative title. This year I couldn’t resist anymore. Therefore I bought it, and already started to read it. Let’s see when I’m going to finish it, as well as the Thirtheenth Tale. Oh well, I ‘ll keep you posted.

Today I just learned that I’m going to Barcelona and Rome on work. Isn’t it awsome?? I’m super excited :)

I’ll get back as soon as I have futher info.

Bed and Breakfast

As promissed, here’s a brand new entry on my blog. Finally on vacations, I can put my sleep up to date. Or at least I hope so. Yesterday, I managed to sleep until 12:40 pm. Flawless victory!! Today I wan’t so lucky, since I had to leave early with mum. The good thing is, I’ve been walking a lot, getting a lot of fresh air into my brain. My head it’s such a mess lately, that I definitley needed this. I just want to think clearly and find my path in life.

Lately my life as changed in a way I wan’t expecting it to change. You know… sometimes you just know what you’re going to do in the next 50 years of your life, and then suddenly you just don’t know anymore. That’s what happened to me. So now, I just need to rest, sleep and read.

I just looked into  my lit & stuff page, and well, I’m deeply ashamed. We’re already in April… and I’m only half way through my second book this year… not to mention that I’ve onlywatched 3 films??? WTH????

I really need to finish Twilight. The stupid thing is… I’m actually enjoying the book. Apparently I just don’t make the time to read. So,I promisse I’ll finish it this week. And I’ll be back to tell you so, as soon I do.

‘Till then… have fun and seize the day.

Other than that… I’m dead tired. Luckly I’ll be on vacations next week. So….. hopefully, I’ll try o post something funny and witty then.

Till then… cheerio!!!

The TBR List for 2009

I understand I’m awfully late with this TBR, but there’s been some changes in my life that have kept me afk. But the important thing is, TBR is finaly here.

Let the games begin.

The Nineteenth Tale – Diane Setterfield

A Breath of Snow and Ashes – Diana Gabaldon

Survivre avec des Loups – Misha Defonseca

The Historian – Elizabeth Kostova

Perfeitos Milagres – Jacinto Lucas Pires (portuguese author)

Manhã submersa – Virgilio Ferreira (portuguese author)

A um Deus Desconhecido – John Steinbeck (portuguese translation)

Rio das Flores – Miguel Sousa Tavares (portuguese author)

O Nascimento da Venus – Sarah Dunant (portuguese translation)

O Codex 632 – José Rodrigues dos Santos (portuguese author)

Stardust – Neil Gaiman

Crespusculo – Stephenie Meyer (portuguese translation)

O Jogo do Anjo – Carlos Ruiz Zafon (portuguese translation)

Some of these books came from last year’s list, because there’s always something new that comes along, and the old ones remain in the pile.  Let’s see how it goes this year. January wasn’t a good month… I’m only half way through “The Other Boleyn Girl”, and it’s not because i’m not enjoying it. Let’s see if I can improve my reading rate as we go along.

Feel free to comment and stay tunned.

Karting Experience

Sorry sorry sorry. I should have already posted my to be read list for 2009, and I’ll try to do it within the next few days, but for now I’m going to tell you how does a fairy feels while riding a kart full throttle. Yes, that’s right. The company I work for has nothing to do with the previous one, and the people are actually more fun :) . This year instead of celebrating Christmas with the traditional Christmas dinner, they decided to enjoy a Saturday out, kariting and having lunch at a a fancy restaurant, in January.

That day was yesterday. We’ve left early in order to get there on time. But, apparently the driver didn’t know the way… so we took a little longer to get there. Only three females dared to ride, and I was one of them. ;) . Here’s a  pic of yours truly in the action.

Karting

The best part is… I wasn’t the last one. In fact was the best female. Everyone was congratulating me, and i was all blushed.. not really used to being complimented on such type of events. ehehehe, it felt good though.

The problem is, today I’m all sored. It comes with the package I guess.

Lol, promisse to comeback soon with the TBR list for this year.

cheerio :)
